Primary 5-7 have had visits from parents and grandparents who have shared their family experiences of what life was like. It was really interesting and the pupils asked lots of informative questions.
As part of their IDL topic about The Clearances, P5-7 have been learning about tartan and how it is made. We were delighted to have Thereza, our PSA, bring in her loom and teach us how to weave cloth.
This is always a busy month in school, and as you can see this year was no exception. From Winter jumpers to Christmas crafts, visits from The Grinch and Santa, our very own Christmas show, a trip to Eden Court’s pantomime, fundraisers and appeals, and parties galore. It was a fun-filled month.
It may only be November but we had great fun in the playground this week making the most of the snow fall!
This term we have workshops with Mikeysline where we are learning about the importance of our mental wellbeing and finding out about strategies we can use to help with this.
We all took part in ‘Odd Sock Day’ where we showed that it is okay to be different, and helped raise a small doantion for the charity.
