Newmore Primary School has been the hub of an essentially farming community for over 100 years.
The families from our catchment area come from widely differing backgrounds but it is hoped that our school still remains the vital hub of this friendly community. A large number of our pupils are placement requests, coming from the wider areas of Invergordon and Alness.
At Newmore Primary School our staff and parents endeavour to provide our children with a happy, secure education of a high quality.
There are currently 47 pupils in total, split between two multi-composite classes, P1-4 and P5-7.
Primary 1-4 are taught by Mrs Rooney
Primary 5-7 are taught by Miss Lowson.
Mrs Blake is our CCR teacher and works with us two days every week.
Morag is our clerical and also works as a PSA.
Sue is our PSA, janitor and cleaner
Claire is our Kitchen Assistant and PEF PSA
Thereza is our General Auxiliary
Mrs Winter is our Head Teacher. She is also the cluster Head Teacher for Ardross Primary School.
